Amarinth delivers 18m-long pumps for model new Indian FPSO

Amarinth has accomplished a US$1.5 million order from Armada Madura for six API 610 VS4 vertical pumps for a brand new FPSO being built for India’s Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC).

Two of the six API 610 VS4 pumps are pour level depressant pumps that are 18m in size and the other 4 are methanol carry pumps that are 10m lengthy.
เกจวัดแรงดันดิจิตอลราคา of the pumps have PT100 temperature sensors which have been designed and constructed alongside the size of the pumps to monitor the temperature of every bearing individually.
The 18m lengthy pumps incorporate a supporting system of brackets that Amarinth has designed which attaches each pump to its tank throughout installation guaranteeing that as the pump is lowered into the tank it remains completely aligned, lowering vibration and wear during operation.
Once assembled, the pumps have been independently witness examined and authorized by DNV at Amarinth’s facility in Rendlesham, UK. The pumps were then disassembled into 3m segments and shipped to Singapore the place the FPSO (floating manufacturing storage and offloading unit) is being constructed.
The pump delivery and installation had to align with the FPSO construct schedule. Because of the size of the pumps, they needed to be put in into the vessel’s tanks through the deck before one other deck above the pumps could be constructed. The first part was accomplished successfully over the Christmas interval with Amarinth’s Engineering Commissioning group supporting the client with the installation and commissioning.
The FPSO might be positioned within the KG-DWN 98/2 field, approximately 22 km off the east coast of Kakinada, India. The vessel is designed to supply as much as ninety 000 barrels of oil per day (BOPD) and have a 1.3-million-barrel storage facility. It might be geared up to handle the monsoon conditions prevalent at the subject.
