After publishing an edited photo of the Deputy Education Minister wading in floodwaters, the Education Ministry has launched a proper apology. Posting yesterday on their Facebook web page, the ministry acknowledged the false information.
The photograph was posted yesterday showing the deputy education minister knee-deep in floodwaters, with a caption stating that she visited the areas that have been flooded on account of tropical storm Dianmu college students and school officials there.
People who noticed the submit had been fast to comment on Thai social media that the image looked fake, as no water was affected by her presence, she forged no shadow, and different indicators of forgery. She seemed to have been added into a photograph of a non-descript flooded space.
One person posted that the picture was really one she took in 2020 in a flooded space and posted the unique picture as proof.
The Education Ministry shortly deleted the edited picture after which posted on Facebook that the Deputy Minister and the Ministry weren’t concerned within the creation of the manipulated picture.
