Turkish power agency, ENKA, in consortium with Siemens will soon begin the development of 1,321 MW Simple Cycle Power Plants in Libya.
The contracts for the two energy plants, 650 MW in Misrata and Tripoli West 671 MW, had been signed with the General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL) to satisfy the growing electricity demand in Libya.
According to ENKA, the Misrata challenge is based on an influence island configuration for 2 SGT5-PAC 4000F Siemens combustion turbine generator models, whereas the Tripoli West challenge relies on an influence island configuration for 4 SGT5-PAC 2000E Siemens combustion turbine generator models.
The turbines of the crops shall be dual-fuel fired with gentle fuel oil and pure gasoline. Power will be generated and stepped up via the main transformers to the grid.
The two projects are planned to be completed in 2022.
ENKA has been current in Libya for nearly 50 years growing mega-scale tasks from industrial and power vegetation to constructing projects and important infrastructure.
เกจ์วัดแรงดันน้ำมันเครื่อง has other vitality initiatives in Libya, including a 640-MW capability gas turbine energy plant in Ubari in central Libya which was tested for connection to the Libyan energy grid in October 2017, however has since failed to start operating as a end result of political instability and civil wars in the region.
ENKA, also a development and engineering company, has accomplished three power vegetation in Libya, 24 urban development and housing, 6 infrastructure and 24 industrial initiatives together with cement and desalination vegetation throughout the nation.
The agency attributes its venture supply successes to a confirmed functionality and important experience working in difficult environments with lack of infrastructure and under extraordinarily harsh climatic conditions.
Another Turkish firm, Karadeniz Holding, has proposed to supply electrical energy to the western part of Libya. A technical staff from the corporate visited Libya final year to present the proposal.
Karadeniz Holding runs a fleet of floating power turbines generally known as energy ships which plug into electrical energy grids after berthing. The firm goal the Libyan-produced diesel and pure gas to deliver as much as 1,000 MWh.
