Waukesha Bearings’ plant in Antigo, Wisconsin.
Founded in Waukesha, Wisconsin in 1946, Waukesha Bearings opened its Antigo manufacturing facility in May 1972, with a staff of three full-time employees. In 2019, the plant expanded to one hundred,000 sq ft of producing space and now employs a hundred and twenty individuals. The manufacturing space was added to accommodate production for marine bearing techniques and different new projects awarded to the corporate.
“We are proud of our success and progress to turn into a provider of precision bearings to some of the largest multi-national companies from our small-town, Northern Wisconsin location,” said Mark Greenlund, plant manager.
To celebrate the 50-year milestone, the company is planning an event at the facility for workers and increasing its outreach to the neighborhood to coach them on the profession alternatives obtainable on the site. “We are in search of people inside the Antigo community who want to be part of the following 50 years of success at Waukesha Bearings,” mentioned Greenlund.
The Antigo plant is the largest of four Waukesha Bearings manufacturing websites and is supported by engineers in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Waukesha Bearings also has manufacturing services in the UK, China and Mexico.
