Waukesha Bearings celebrates plant’s fiftieth anniversary

Founded in Waukesha, Wisconsin in 1946, Waukesha Bearings opened its Antigo manufacturing facility in May 1972, with a workers of 3 full-time staff. In 2019, the plant expanded to a hundred,000 sq ft of producing space and now employs 120 individuals. The manufacturing space was added to accommodate production for marine bearing systems and different new initiatives awarded to the company.
“We are happy with our success and growth to turn out to be a provider of precision bearings to a variety of the largest multi-national companies from our small-town, Northern Wisconsin location,” said Mark Greenlund, plant supervisor.
To celebrate the 50-year milestone, the corporate is planning an event at the facility for employees and extending its outreach to the group to coach them on the career alternatives obtainable at the site. “We are in search of folks within the Antigo neighborhood who want to be a part of the next 50 years of success at Waukesha Bearings,” said Greenlund.
